Artificial Lift

Weatherford provides turnkey solutions for automating artificially-lifted wells.  These solutions include advanced hardware, software, communication systems, consulting and training for onshore and offshore producing oil and gas sites. The combination of intelligent hardware and software ensures that each individual well in the field operates efficiently which in turn, lowers down time and increases production.  Weatherford provides hardware and software for all types of artificial lift and combines that with installation and local service for the lift of the well.

Typical Weatherford Solutions

Weatherford provides the sensors and intelligent wellsite equipment for each component in the field. The host software resides on a central server and collects the data in real-time from the field equipment. Using a client-server system makes all the needed data from the field devices and manually entered information available to the users for analysis. Using existing LAN and WAN technology allows the software to be used throughout the entire enterprise. Consequently operators of the field can control well and facility activities, analyze production and project future results and failures using the various modules.

Increased Production

The combination of intelligent hardware and software solutions ensures that each individual well in the field is operated efficiently. Also, the solutions provide the ability to lower down time for the wells and compressors. The increase in efficiency and reduction in down time can lead to increased production.

Cost Reduction

The three fundamental costs in operating wells are electrical, workover and chemical. The intelligent wellsite equipment increases the run life of the well resulting in reduced workover costs. Also, electrical and chemical costs are reduced by optimization of the lift equipment.
